Rico Yearwood is a Barbados-based Attorney-at-Law. He graduated from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus with a Bachelor of Laws degree (First Class Honours). He is also a graduate of the Hugh Wooding Law School. He is the holder of an Honorary First-Degree Diploma in Comparative Philosophical Study of Law from the Moscow State University of International Relations in Moscow, Russia.
Rico is a Public Law Scholar with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Public Law from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. He is the co-producer and co-host of the award winning CARICOM Public Law Podcast.
His practice focus is Public Law, and his focus areas include Caribbean Integration Law, Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law and Administrative Law (contentious and non-contentious).
Rico is also the Head of the firm’s regional Legal Research Department.
He is significantly invested in mentoring and tutoring law students.
